basic eligibility for Quality Migrant Admission Scheme:

Applicants age must between 18-5o years old at the time of filing application.
Applicants must be capable of supporting themselves financially in getting accommodation, as well as their dependants.
Applicants must having a good character and must not having any criminal record. The applicant should be able to provide Police clearance certificate for all countries where he/she has stayed for more than 12 months in last 10 years.
Applicants must have the proficiency on written, as well as spoken English or Chinese. Applicants with a score of average of 6.0 in IELTS are eligible to apply under QMAS.
Applicants must have a good background when it comes to education.an applicant should have an undergraduate degree, from a recognized university/institution in first class. If an applicant does not possess a degree, his/her technical qualifications, professional experience and achievements are taken into consideration. Applicants with higher post graduate degrees stand an excellent chance in getting application accepted.

Hong Kong Work Visa

Professional Hong Kong Work Visa

To obtain a professional Hong Kong work permit you may be required to show proof of a university degree or equivalent. In some cases a work visa for Hong Kong is granted on the bases of a good technical qualification or proven experience. You must also have a confirmed offer of employment to work in Hong Kong with a pay and benefits package that would provide you with a normal standard of living in the city. For a Hong Kong work visa you must also have never committed a serious crime. If your application is successful you may also apply for visas for your spouse and any dependent children below the age of 18 to live with you.

Non-professional Hong Kong Work Visa

If you are not a professional, it is still possible to work in Hong Kong if you have a confirmed offer of employment from a business in the city and your employer can prove that labour cannot be sourced locally. A non-professional work permit for Hong Kong is not open to most nationalities but once you are working in Hong Kong you are not permitted to apply for visas for your family.

Foreign Domestic Helpers

You can apply for a Hong Kong working visa as a foreign domestic helper if your employers are living and/or working in Hong Kong and you have previously been in their service for two years or more.

Permanent Resident

Any person who has been ordinarily residing in Hong Kong for more than 7 years could apply for the Right of Abode in Hong Kong. This is also known as the Permanent Resident application, or application for a Permanent Hong Kong Identity Card.

The key consideration of this application is to proof that the person has been continuously living in Hong Kong for not less than 7 years before filing the application and such person has already taken Hong Kong as his / her only place of domicile, and would continue to reside in Hong Kong for the near foreseeable future.

Though Hong Kong Immigration Department would have records of all individuals, the burden of proof will still be rested with the applicants.

During last 7 years you should be:

not be absence for more than 6 months during the 7 years.
not to be cumulative absence for more than 6 months in any calander year during the 7 years.
not holding a resident visa (i.e. visitor visa) during the 7 years.

After the approval of a permanent resident status, the permanent resident cannot continuously absent from Hong Kong for more than 3 years, otherwise the permanent resident status would be lifted to right to land in Hong Kong.

Investment Visa

Investment Visa is for those who would like to set up their business in Hong Kong. They are owners of the business and would like to live in Hong Kong to manage it. You will need to proof your previous management experience and to submit a business plan. Other information like personal financial proof and initial capital of the business are also required.
